Aynor’s Johnson named Blitz Players of the Week

WBTW-TV: News, Weather, and Sports for Florence, SC   Johnson, who earned the Grand Strand Player of the Week honor, ran for 177 yards as the Blue Jackets beat Creek Bridge 42-18. He’s a two-time Blitz POW. He also won the award last year.

Aynor Volleyball Dominates Dillon in Region Opener

Congratulations to varsity volleyball team on the dominating win over Dillon last night.  The Lady Jackets won 3-0 with scores of 25-8, 25-15, 25-16.  Mariah Elms had 17 kills. Katie Altman had 7 kills.  Kayla Elms had 20 assists. The team plays county rival, Green Sea Floyds, on Monday.

Cross Country Dominates at Marion Meet

Congratulations to the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams for their wins over Marion, Latta, Hannah Pamplico, Loris, Green Sea, West Florence, and South Florence last night at Marion. The girls’ won with a perfect score of 15 points.

Aynor’s Girl Tennis tops Socastee 4-3 last night

Congratulations to the girl’s tennis team for a 4-3 win over Socastee last night.  Singles Winners: #3 Amelia Evans, #4 Shelley Baker, #5 Kelly Floyd   Doubles Winners:  #2 Summer Goewey and Mattie Hucks.  Great Job Lady Jackets!!

Aynor’s Volleyball Lady Blue Jackets knock off 4A Conway in last night’s match

The girls varsity volleyball defeated Conway 3-1 (25-10, 23-25, 25-20, 25-17) last night. Sydney Metz had 5 aces and 17 digs.  Kerry Elms had 16 kills. Katie Altman had 8 kills. Berkeley Causey had 2 kills.  Kayla Ernst had 30 assists. Region play opens up Thursday against Dillon.
